COVID-19 Guidance

Testing

If you suspect you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, walk-in COVID-19 PCR testing is available Monday through Friday, 8–10 a.m. within the Primary Care Clinic.

Those eligible for walk-in testing are:

  1. Active duty personnel and Rader & Fort McNair clinic-enrolled beneficiaries who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
  2. Active duty personnel traveling on orders for which COVID-19 testing is required prior to travel
  3. Rader & Fort McNair clinic-enrolled beneficiaries who have been instructed by their provider to take COVID-19 testing prior to a medical procedure
At this time, we are unable to accommodate any other requests for walk-in COVID-19 testing at this time.

For other COVID-19 related concerns, please contact your primary care management team.

Vaccine

The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 illness. Visit the CDC website for more information.

COVID-19 vaccines are not available at Rader Army Health Clinic. Check with local retail pharmacies in the TRICARE network for availability and how to schedule an appointment to get the vaccine.

Concerns about the vaccine?

Speak with a vaccine expert. You may contact the DHA-Immunization Healthcare Support Center at 1-877-GET-VACC (1-877-438-8222) option 1 or Defense Switch Network (DSN) 761-4245, option 1, if you have questions about the vaccines or about an adverse event following vaccination.
